At the same time, the proportion of ternary lithium batteries dropped to 53%, and the loading capacity was 5.2GWh. According to industry forecasts, the loading volume of lithium iron phosphate is expected to exceed that of ternary lithium batteries in June, returning to the first position of power batteries.

As far as output is concerned, lithium iron phosphate batteries have surpassed ternary lithium batteries for the first time after a lapse of three years. The data shows that in May this year, the domestic power battery output totaled 13.8GWh, a year-on-year increase of 165.8%, of which the output of Solar Energy Storage Battery was 8.8GWh, which exceeded the monthly output of ternary lithium battery for the first time this year. During the same period, the output of ternary lithium-ion power battery was 5.0GWh.

From January to May this year, the domestic ternary lithium battery loading volume reached 24.2GWh, accounting for 58.5% of the total loading volume. The cumulative installed capacity of lithium iron phosphate batteries is 17.1GWh, accounting for 41.3% of the total installed capacity. In terms of output, the cumulative output of ternary lithium batteries is 29.5GWh, accounting for 49.6% of the total output, and the cumulative output of lithium iron phosphate batteries is 29.9GWh, accounting for 50.3%. It can be seen that with the output in May, lithium iron phosphate is also temporarily ahead of ternary lithium batteries in total output.

In terms of enterprise concentration, in May this year, a total of 41 power battery enterprises in my country's new energy vehicle market achieved vehicle installation, an increase of 1 from the same period last year. The top 3, top 5, and top 10 power battery companies have power battery loadings of 7.3GWh, 8.5GWh, and 9.0GWh, accounting for 74.5%, 87.1%, and 92.5% of the total installed capacity, respectively. In addition, the top five power battery companies in terms of monthly vehicle loading are CATL, BYD, LG Chem, AVIC Lithium, and Guoxuan Hi-Tech.

From January to May this year, a total of 51 power battery companies in my country's new energy vehicle market achieved vehicle installation, 3 less than the same period last year. The top 3, top 5, and top 10 power battery companies have installed power batteries respectively It is 30.1GWh, 35.2GWh and 38.2GWh, accounting for 72.8%, 85.0% and 92.2% of the total installed capacity, respectively. The top five companies in terms of cumulative loading are CATL, BYD, LG Chem, AVIC Lithium, and Guoxuan Hi-Tech.
